“ 2 for 2 in Savannah. This place absolutely made me pause when I took the first bite. Now, I wanna be clear. This isn’t your “classic street taco” place. I consider them fufu tacos. DO NOT let that deter you. Wow! I admit, I was on the fence. I have had tacos like this before at other places and they failed miserably. Not this place. First up was the Steak Taco, it caused immediate pause. They toast the shells a little so they are rigid, not crispy but not floppy. This worked great. The flavor of the steak taco with the crumbled cheese on top, was perfect. Probably my favorite taco. Next up Korean BBQ. Now, I loved this taco, it didn’t hit the spot like the other ones. The meat was drier than expected. BUT, the flavor of the bbq, the sesame, and the kimchi, blended more flawlessly than I have ever had. While I, personally would have got a second Steak Taco, the flavor explosion of this taco, was perfect. I would tell anyone to try it. My brain just glitches at Kimchi and Tacos. lol. But it was a fantastic taco. Lastly, the last, Al Pastor. They added a little more than to a bare bones street taco, but again, absolute flavor explosion. More than I have ever had with one of these tacos. It was the perfect culmination to this taco trio. Do NOT Skimp on this little location. They deserve the business. ”
“ Outstanding first dinner after arriving from Germany via Asheville! Walked over from our hotel. The Tatchos are a MUST have! All the tacos were great. We ordered 2 Three Packs to share between my wife, son and me. Po Boy was her fave, he loved them all, and mine was the Crab Fritter. Churros with Vanilla Ice Cream were killer!! We shared one personal order and it was PLENTY! Highly recommend A Taco Affair!!! ”
“ What a great experience! We started at the bar with Jacob taking care of us. He suggested the cucumber jalapeno margarita and it was a wonderful combination of spicy and not too sweet. Next we ordered 5 tacos: the steakhouse, carne asada, shrimp po’ boy, sesame tuna and crab fritter. Each was absolutely delicious with our favorites being the po’boy and the crab fritter. We also tried the yucca fries, which we had never had, and agreed we would definitely order again. Our food was delivered quickly, we enjoyed chatting with Jacob and their prices are very reasonable! ”
“ My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at A Taco Affair in December 2024, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere Jason and his team created for us and our guests. They planned a cocktail hour including appetizers such as chips and guac, salsa, yuca fries, wings, and my personal favorite...tachos. For dinner, each guest chose two tacos (from a list of six we selected ahead of time) with a side of rice. They also offered two drink tickets to each guest for soda, alcohol, and even fun mocktails. All of the food and service was extremely reasonably priced on a per person basis, which made the payment process transparent and easy. I should also mention half the group was vegetarian, and Jason was very respectful of the dietary preferences and ensured the menu was inclusive, filling, and flavorful for everyone involved. For dessert, we requested Leopold’s cater the event, and Jason handled communications and set up with them without a hitch. Thank you to the whole team at A Taco Affair for your part in making delicious memories we will cherish forever! ”
“ Make sure you go see Jacob. Man what great tasting different tacos. Amazing flavor profiles! And you can put on lettuce wrap instead of tortilla. Super good! Great atmosphere. “ The tacos were really good. I got the 3 pack which was reasonably priced at 15. I tried the Steakhouse, Korean BBQ, and the Traditional. All were really good. The peach salsa was decent as well. Makes a great snack! The staff was super friendly. Atmosphere was cool They are in a good location with plenty of parking. Definitely plan to return and try more on their menu! As a tour guide, this is a great new hidden gem ”
“ I did the 3 taco special with the steak house taco, the buttermilk chicken and weekly special (chorizo hash) and I love the blue cheese on that steak taco and the spicy chorizo however that chicken taco wasn't as flavorful as the other two so I was disappointed a little. The spicy mango margarita was delicious. The churros was good especially with that rumchata sauce. ”
